Meet Simone Dominique

Simone Dominique is the founder of The WunderSpot Project. In a world that often celebrates the loudest voices, Simone’s voice is a testament to the power of introspection, strategy, and deep purpose. With a career spanning the intricate fields of finance, sustainability, advocacy, and entrepreneurship, she has woven a narrative of impactful change through non-traditional media, all while maintaining a reflective and purpose-driven ethos.

Simone has collaborated on projects spanning North America, the Netherlands, Asia, the African continent, and Central America, bridging cultures and catalyzing change through the power of strategic communication and creative finance.

Her writing includes contributions to The Atlantic, interviews with world leaders for intergovernmental newsletters, and she has served as rapporteur for the Sustainable Water Resources Roundtable under both Republican and Democratic-led administrations.

As the interim CEO of the UN Social 500, Simone Dominique worked with an international team to amplify the United Nations’ ability to spread its Sustainable Development Goals to millions of people across the globe.

Her work in story-producing a documentary series about the United States Department of Defense, alongside a team of industry experts, for A&E’s History Channel and FYI networks was not just about storytelling; it was about creating spaces for meaningful narratives to flourish. The project aired in 33 countries.

As the Chief Operating Officer for the Global Center for Climate Resilience, she was pivotal in the seamless integration of the GCCR into the broader framework of the ACRE at the prestigious Stimson Center. This work was the joint vision of a small group of leaders who laid the foundation for a more resilient future.

Simone’s commitment to empowering the next generation of female leaders can be seen in her work with Women of Tomorrow, a 501(c)(3) that has been honored over 8 times on the floor of Congress. Her approach to cause marketing initiatives there transcended traditional boundaries by blending corporate objectives with storytelling for social impact.

As the National Vice President of Sales at Novastar Financial, her leadership was marked by an ability to inspire and motivate, as well as to be inspired by others. This helped drive her division to unprecedented growth of $7 billion in sales.

She spearheaded a mission to democratize access to funding for small businesses through the application of Natural Language Processing technology. This project wasn’t just about financial innovation; it was a reflection of a deep commitment to using technology as a force for societal benefit, demonstrating a profound understanding of the interconnectedness of our world.

As a member of the US Committee for UN Women from 2017 through 2021, Simone co-chaired the Palm Beach Climate Reality Leadership Corp in 2019 and lent expertise as a strategic advisor and speaker for social entrepreneurship in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) from 2018 to 2019.

In her latest project, Simone Dominique delves into the embodiment of the indomitable American spirit, where sheer determination and creativity become the ultimate currency for entrepreneurs seeking to fund their dreams.

By chronicling the journeys of individuals who resort to the mundane, the unconventional, and even the audacious—this project highlights how America’s business pioneers fueled their dreams.
